Our little man

Rob has his clippers out to shave his head and Larz was watching him. I came in and Rob took the clippers right up the back of our little boys beautiful long hair. He was cracking up while I was gasping in disbelief. He finished the job and I love it. Larz is now a little boy. And his hair is a lot lighter than we both thought! He is also taking his first steps on his own now. I just can't believe he is growing up so fast.

His beautiful hair is gone! I have been tempted many times just to buzz Kade's hair off. But then I remember how long it took to get it as long as it is. Oh my gosh! I'm surprised that Larz was laughing, that buzzer usually scares the crap out of some kids. At least he is still a cutie and his hair wasn't "his one beauty".
I'm sure Adria will be able to tease you with that one.

"The Tide"
The tide recedes, but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down,
but gentle warmth
still lingers on the land.
The music stops, yet echoes on
in sweet, soulful refrains.
For every joy that passes,
something beautiful remains.
