Family Pics

We haven't had a family picture taken since right after I had Ryen! That was almost 5 years ago! We are terrible. So we attempted to take some yesterday and let me tell you it was a ZOO!!! Seriously. I wanted to shoot myself in the face when it was over. But all in all they came out ok. :)

Here we go again.....

Well, we just found out that we are pregnant again! It is a huge surprise but a welcomed one. I cried alot at first. I really didnt want to do this again. But I thought about it and I think its smart. I knew Rob wanted another one someday. I would rather get it done now and raise them together while Im still in baby mode and have everything ready. Its going to be a long road but I am prepared to treat this pregnancy like none other. :)

So my dear friends Amber and Chad are expecting a beautiful little girl in April. I LOVE taking Ambers photos. I swear my camera has a relationship with her that I dont know about because every time she is in front of my lens, the pictures are just magical. She radiates so much goodness and love. And did I mention she is the most BEAUTIFUL pregnant girl Ive ever seen? Seriously. She is amazing.

Whenever I play the harmonica my dogs co crazy! They get as close as they can and howl away. Its hilarious. I dont know why they do it.

Soul Train

Oh how I wish I lived back when soul train was IT! I would've grooved down that lane like no other. My girlfriend and I used to get dressed up in silly costumes and put on records of all kinds and dance our hearts out. (before she moved last year) This was an event that happened at least twice a month. She sent me this video. Its just hilarious.

On the move!

Larz is on the move. I took these today of him crawling. He is just like his daddy playing with that video game remote! He melts my heart on a daily basis.

Update

Well guys, Larz is crawling, sitting up on his own, and getting into EVERYTHING!!!! He is such a little monster! The only time I can keep him in one spot is in the tub. I love his bath time to say the least. He is just so cute naked. :) He has 6 teeth! He cut all four on top at the same time and let me tell you, I almost jumped in front of a bus during that time. Im so happy its over. Poor little guy. I love seeing him and Rob play together. He is such an amazing father. He is always interacting with him. I am so lucky to have a husband who changes diapers, feeds, and does just about any other baby thing. Ive heard stories about those whimp dads who will not change a diaper. Well I dont consider them a real father until they DO change a diaper. Anyways. Life is good. Larz is beautiful. And I am happy.

Grandpas Funeral

Well what can I say? Today was filled with SO much love all around. The funeral was sad but so amazing. There were tons of people there! My sister flew in for it too. It was So good to have her there with us. The stories my mom and her sister told about their father were so neat. I love hearing stories about my grandpa. He was so cool! I am so proud to be his granddaughter. He was so strong and so beautiful inside and out. I have the most amazing family a girl could ask for. We sang "in this very room" (me, my sisters and the other granddaughters that were older) during the funeral. I know my grandpa was there listening to us sing/cry our little hearts out for him. 3 of his brohers came down from North Carolina. They are a riot. They have thick accents and they could tell jokes all day long. I loved seeing them especailly the night of the viewing. That was very hard for me and then to watch them talk and laugh alot like grandpa did.... Well it was comforting for me. After the funeral we headed over to lay him to rest. It was the most beautiful day Ive seen in a long time. There was a man there playing the bagpipes. When it came time to say goodbye grandma put something on his coffin. I walked over and saw that she had put down these two little cough drops. Grandpa always had hese things in his shirt pocket and we would always want them. I loved seeing those. I said my final goodbye. We had a luncheon after that. Random family members got up and shared a favorite memory they had with grandpa. It was so nice to hear everyones memories. We got together again this evening and laithe played a home video that he recorded of grandpa on Christmas. Just 3 days before he passed. We all sat in the dark and watched. Grandpa told some funny stories and laughed and said some of his famous lines. :) At the very end he smiled and said "asta la vista baby!". I cannot tell you how good watching that made me feel. It was so good to hear him talk, laugh and just see him alive. I needed that. I miss him so much. Its hard. But I know he is having a blast on the other side! :)

I love you grandpa

Last week my grandpa passed away. Bone Cancer came over him out of nowhere. Dara posted the events on her blog so I wont get to detailed. This loss has effecting all of us very deeply. He was always so strong and courageous. Nothing phased him. Nothing hurt him. He was my mountain man. Growing up I became very close with him. Especially when I became Pregnant with my little Ryen. We seemed to have a connection more than we ever had. He supported me in every way. When they lived in North Carolina a couple years back they had a few opportunities to meet Ryen and Sonny and Megan. They had an instant connection. I am so thankful that she got to meet one of my favorite people in this world. Megan took this one time when they were together. He taught me so much about life. I will truly miss him until the day I see him again. I love you grandpa!

Larz got a package from grandma and aunt megan the other day! This little outfit was inside and I just LOVE it! I had to take a picture if him in it. Hes so amazing.

Happy Holidays!

Our Christmas went great! Larz was cranky all morning, warm all afternoon, then threw up last night. He is teething so bad and his dad likes to feed him things he shouldn't. Ha. He got some fun gifts from Santa this year. We videotaped the whole thing so I dont have any pictures. What was I thinking?. Rob got me the coolest camera! Its a land camera and its from 1954. I cant wait to dive into it and take some black and white shots of some mountains!

The other day I was getting him dressed after his bath and while leaning down to grab something he decided to try to fly. He took a nose dive right off of the table into the carpet with his little face. He was bleeding and I was crying and trying not to move him because I was scared something serious was wrong. It turns out it was just a rug burn on his nose. It was alot worse last week. Here is my little model showing off his beautiful nose. :) Oh, and he just started making this face where he squints his eyes. Its hilarious.

Megan....

Being a mother is such an amazing gift. And I just want Megan to know that she is the most amazing mother in this world. I love you Megan and thank you for being so perfect for my little sunflower.

K Here are some things about me I bet people dont know. ha .. .

1. I used to refuse to empty the lint sheet from the dryer because lint scared me.

2. I cant write in cursive.

3. Cardboard makes me cringe. . oo I can hear the boxes now. eeeek!

4. I cant eat my eggs, potatoes or biscuits & gravy without syrup on top.

5. I could play tetris all day long if I had the game.

6. I will not step out of the shower unless there is a towel under my feet. no way.
